LIVE SHIRO VIDEO

Sometime before the new year, Andrew Barber filmed a few shows for us, and sometime after that, Travis mixed a few of the recordings from one of those shows, and sometime after that Andrew edited them together, and for awhile after that we sort of sat on our hands about it while busy doing some other stuff and then HOLY CRAP DID I EVER JUST BREAK ROUTINE BY PUTTING SAID VIDEO ONLINE.

The studio version of this song will be up soon as well, along with a few other early postings and snippets from our next EP. In the meantime you should come and watch us do an entire set of this kind of stuff on Saturday, March 6th at the Railway Club in Vancouver. Post-Olympic Hysteria begins now! Show up early to get your hands on some of our super limited TSC sports booklets. I’m serious.

wwwhhooOOOAAAAAAHHHH UPDATE!!

At this exact moment, I’m reworking the website for functionality and EXTREME BEAUTY… my apologies to anyone who stumbles upon it in it’s current state of half-completion, but this is only the beginning of our internet antics over the next few months. We’re finally almost done a whole ton of different stuff (those updates that the lovely Mike had loosely promised several months ago) and this site redesign was at the end of the list, so get ready!

In fact, you’ll probably want to hook up with us on facebook or myspace, or subscribe to this action via the RSS button in the right corner, there. Well, once I actually ADD the buttons, that is.

Okay okay just gimme a sec, I’m on it…

Happy Halloween, Bitches!!!

Just wanted to say a quick Happy Halloween to anyone who may come across the site while putting on their “Lady GaGa” and/or “Michael Jackson back from the dead and pissed off” costumes tonight. If you’re not dressing up, then you’ll be more comfortable then me, and if you happen to run in to me…try not to look at my legs!

Also wanted to say we’ll be playing a show on Friday Nov 13th (HOLY SHIT SO DANGEROUS) at Pub 340, it’s gonna be an awesome show, without the dance club douche bags waiting for us to stop playing so they can grind uncomfortably against girls who don’t want anything to do with them anyway. If you were really looking forward to that, lets just say I’ll see what I can do (which means I won’t do anything).
Sorry for the lack of action on the site lately children, it’s just because we’re trying to do 800 things at once, not because we don’t love you uncomfortably…while trying to grind up against you. Just think though how cool the site will be once we finish 800 things and try to put them up all at once! INTERNET EXPLOSION THX TSC!!!

Time to go put on a dress…

Saturday, September 26th, 2009 – You will always remember this day, as it will be the day that your face gets blown off by three massive acts of rock – THE SAINTS COLLAPSE, Darker The Sky & Brompton Distress Call.

Screw the economy, screw the pussy dance club your lame friend wants to go to listen to faceless hip-hoppers & rappers sound the same with massive AutoTune™-induced vocals, and listen to some REAL kickass rock.

On top of this, THE SAINTS COLLAPSE turn 2 (sort-of) that day! WOWZ0RS!1! Come sing us happy birthday!
Tasty tickets are available from the bands, or at the door.

The Saints Collapse would just like to congratulate our good friend Matt Walsh and his new beautiful wife Kristyna Walsh! Aren’t weddings fun!!???! The answer of course is yes…if they’re done properly, and this one certainly was. Good food, nice location, lots of dancing, FREE BOOZE, and a pretty good wedding band…(ahem)…but most of all, there’s nothing better (except for free booze) then seeing two people who truly love each other and who are just really good people get married. Sorry for the sap.

Also a quick thanks to everyone who came out to our bourbon show on friday, it was a lot of fun and I hope whoever did come got a chance to snag one of our lovely new posters! All in all, a pretty darn good weekend, now back to work until the next one.

Move over, Will Smith (from 10 years ago):

Originally we were only kidding with this, but since we spent all the time and money flying to El Paso to have this shot on location, we figured we might as well get some use out of it.

Somebody should tell Travis’s shirt that the Electric Chair hasn’t been invented yet. Then again, that goes to show you just how forward-thinking we are.

Finally, within walking distance of my place:

Move over, Pabst Blue Ribbon.... the meaning of 'PBR' has just been reassigned.

And not a moment too soon… I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve gotten really, really sick of beef rolls that be rollin’ up on me at 3am, bringing their loud friends over when I’m trying to sleep, all waking me up and trying to get me to go dancing. Less of a landlord heatscore too. Whew!

I’m really not sure what to say.

Either this was funny, or I was shocked into a state of entrancement. Possibly both?

Certain days remind me of some of the things I like about Vancouver. Courtesy of some hasty wacom tablet diddling, I present the view from my kitchen:

Even a cluttered semi-urban alley can be improved by the right skyline. Of course, every time we start to work on a new record, the weather gets nice and seasonal allergies immediately show me who’s really in charge of my sinuses. Nonetheless, we should enjoy it while we can.

Wasn’t it just October 15 minutes ago?
